Great classic Strat sounds... Wonderful, spanky and clean, plus when using overdrive or distortion much less noise to deal with.

I was restoring my 2006 Fender Standard Mexican Strat that has become one of my favorite guitars.I wanted to replace all of the original electronics including the pickups. I installed the Gen 4 Noiseless pickups along with a Golden Age Pre-wired Harness for Stratocaster from Stew-Mac. I play a lot of classic rock and blues and now the guitar nails those classic tones I desire perfectly. With all my high-end guitars, l keep picking my restored Mexi Strat because it sounds great.

A set of these came on my new but used 2015 ash body American Elite strat. I've tried out several Fender Strats lately from Mexican standards, to Squiers, to American Pros, to American standards, etc. I've always been a 2-hum guitar player, but I wanted something crispy and twangy to stack next to a Les Paul when recording at home, and nothing does crisp twang better than a strat. And from all the strats I played, the 2 pickups I liked the most were the '65 Pure Vintage pickups on the mexican Jimi Hendrix models and the Gen4 Noiseless pickups on the American Elites. The Gen4 are MUCH quieter operating without sounding closed up and muffled like the Noiseless pickups on the mexican deluxe models. They are not 100% noise-free though. There is a "small" bit of noise, but compared to all the other Fender pickups currently available, these are definitely the quietest and clearest, giving you all those wonderful glassy spanky Mark Knopfler and Hendrix sounds that everyone tries to coax out of their stratocasters.
90% hum free. I'm very happy.

I've got Fender ceramic magnet Noiseless pick-ups in my Jeff Beck Artist strat and I hate them. They are horrible. Because of these horrible pick-ups I don't play the guitar. Ceramic magnet pick-ups are the clear weak point in the guitar. Are these ceramic magnet also? I need Alnico magnet noiseless pick-ups.

Can I use these to replace the Samarium Cobalt pickups in my 2005 American Deluxe Strat with S1 switching?
Yes they should, the only warning i'm finding is to not use it with a guitar with a pickguard, but this seems to be directed at the Tele version and not the Strat.
