All of my expectations have been exceeded . I gave my Mustang GTX 50 to my son , and bought the LT40S for my new condo. The LT40S has all the cool settings of the bigger amp, including the great tuner, and the dual 4" speakers in stereo are awesome.
Exactly what I was looking for

I use this for playing backing tracks and songs I'm playing over while using my amp and board. I also use it while traveling. It has everything I need. Only drawback is no Bluetooth. I knew this before buying and still thought it was a great item at a great price point.
LT40S…..Eminence inside.

Yes, you read right. I took out the original.speakers and installed two Eminence Alpha series 4" speakers inside. Tricky install. Had to front mount them and add two sharp looking, simple mesh grill covers with polished trim rings to make it look better than it did even. Sounds brighter with tons of detail.
Nice little amp with desktop app

Nice little amp. Doesn't take up much space and is loud enough to practice. It sounds pretty good to me, but I'm not a professional. The desktop app was a nice surprise you can change the settings and model amps while you're playing. Doesn't have Bluetooth only USB connection. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's micro USB instead of type c, not a deal breaker though.

Was nervous as this is my first amp with programmed effects. Didn't know what the user interface would look like. Highly impressed. Super easy to use, Super awesome effects included. Had it for a couple weeks and it is still a new experience each time I turn it on!

Can amp record guitar and voice together for song?
The Fender Mustang LT40S is designed primarily for electric guitar input and does not feature a dedicated microphone input. While it includes a 1/8" auxiliary input, this is intended for line-level devices like MP3 players and is not suitable for microphones, which typically require preamplification. Therefore, you cannot directly connect a microphone to this amp for simultaneous guitar and vocal recording. However, the amp's USB port allows you to record guitar directly into a computer using digital audio workstation (DAW) software. To record vocals alongside your guitar, you would need to use an external audio interface that supports microphone inputs. This setup would enable you to record both guitar and vocals simultaneously into your DAW.submitted3 months ago

Can you use a chromebook laptop for the tone app presets
The Fender Mustang LT40S can connect to a computer for firmware updates and tone management via Fender's Tone software, but it does not support direct tone editing or management via Chromebook, because: Fender Tone software is not available as a web app – it runs only on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. Chromebooks can't natively run Windows or macOS apps, so you can’t install the Fender Tone desktop app on them. There is no current Android version of Fender Tone that supports the Mustang LT40S.submitted3 months ago

Can you run a bass through the amp? Can you run exterior foot pedals through the amp?
2) No. A guitar amp is not designed to reproduce the low frequencies that are typically produced by a bass guitar. This means that it can compromise the sound quality of the instrument. Besides this, improper use of the speaker can also lead to damage. 2) Yes, you can.submitteda year ago
