These Screws are threaded and have a phillips top.
Why go with a cheesy screw for your pickguard? Your wife won't be any more or less mad if you spend $6 on screws. Get your life in order and then you will see that these are the right pickguard screws for you!

Cheap junk, these screws
First off, the screws I received are not in the same packaging as shown. I purchased two packages of these screws to have on hand for modifications and restorations. I am not impressed. They look like pot metal that was dipped in silver galvanized paint. They are definitely not the same quality as factory screws.

What length are these? I need 15mm …
Standard Fender pickguard screws (like those used on Stratocasters and Telecasters) are typically: Size: #4 (imperial screw gauge) Length: approximately 1/2 inch (which is about 12.7mm) So, they are not quite 15mm — they’re a bit shorter. #4 x 5/8" screws are very close to what you're looking for (approx. 15.875mm in length), and they are available — though not usually labeled specifically as "pickguard screws", but wood screws. Unfortunately, we don't carry them.submitted3 years ago
