collapse expand iconDescription

For over 70 years, the Fender Stratocaster has set the standard for electric guitar performance, helping define the sound of rock, blues, pop and beyond across generations. The Fender Player II Stratocaster HSS roasted maple neck limited-edition electric guitar honors that legacy while delivering a suite of modern upgrades for today's players. Its roasted maple modern C-shaped neck offers exceptional playability, featuring a silky satin urethane finish and smooth rolled edges for effortless navigation. The Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 humbucker in the bridge delivers aggressive, high-output tones, while the Player Series Alnico V single-coil pickups provide sparkling clarity and tight lows for that classic Strat sound. Treated with Fender’s stunning Midnight Drive finish, this limited-edition Strat marries immaculate tone with elegant aesthetics, making it a timeless expression of inspired craftsmanship.

Contoured Alder Body for Iconic Fender Style and Performance

The iconic double-cutaway alder body has been a hallmark of the Fender Strat for decades, and the Player II stays true to that timeless design. However, those unmistakable curves are about far more than just looks—they're crafted for comfort and performance. The Strat's smooth contours allow it to rest naturally against the body, making long sessions a breeze, while the graceful cutaways provide easy upper-fret access for lead work and solos. Tonally, alder offers a balanced, full-bodied sound, pairing tight lows and crisp highs with a punchy midrange that cuts through the mix. It's the ideal platform for exploring clean, expressive tones or dialing in high-gain aggression—all while staying rooted in that unmistakable Strat sound.

Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 Pickup for High-Output Tone

At the heart of this guitar's tonal versatility is the Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 humbucking pickup in the bridge position. With its high-output, hot-rodded attitude, this pickup delivers a powerful low end and searing high-end clarity, making it ideal for cutting through dense mixes. Its dynamic response ensures every note is articulate, whether you're holding down the rhythm or ripping through fiery solos. Paired with Player Series Alnico V single-coil Strat pickups in the neck and middle positions, you get the best of both worlds—smooth, glassy cleans, crisp mids and powerful lead tones. With a 5-way blade switch, you can seamlessly transition between searing humbucker tones, sparkling single-coil chime and balanced split-coil sounds. This wide range of tones ensures the Player II Stratocaster HSS can handle any genre with ease.

Roasted Maple Neck for Unmatched Playability

The roasted maple neck on this Player II Strat is engineered for both comfort and speed, featuring a modern C profile that fits naturally in your hand. The satin urethane finish on the back provides a smooth, non-sticky feel, while the rolled edges of the 9.5" radius rosewood fretboard enhance comfort during extended playing sessions. With 22 medium-jumbo frets, this neck ensures effortless bending and precise fretting, making it ideal for intricate lead work or complex chord voicings. The roasted maple construction adds stability and resistance to environmental changes, ensuring consistent performance.

Precision Hardware for Stability and Durability

The Player II Stratocaster is equipped with a 2-point tremolo system, allowing for expressive pitch modulation while maintaining tuning stability. Fender's chrome-finished ClassicGear combine vintage aesthetics with modern precision, ensuring smooth and reliable tuning adjustments. With a durable alder body and high-quality hardware components, the Player II is built to withstand rigorous use. These thoughtful design elements not only enhance the guitar's reliability but also contribute to its sleek, modern aesthetic, making it a standout on stage and in the studio.

A Timeless Strat for Today's Players

The Fender Player II Stratocaster HSS roasted maple neck limited-edition electric guitar blends classic Fender craftsmanship with modern upgrades, delivering an instrument that's equally suited for vintage enthusiasts and progressive musicians. Its iconic design and expanded tonal palette make it an essential tool for any guitarist looking to push their sound further. Whether you're laying down rhythm tracks, cutting through the mix with searing solos or exploring new sonic territories, the Player II Stratocaster HSS provides the performance, playability and unmistakable Fender vibe that have defined generations of music.

This guitar plays smoothly and sounds great this is my 3rd mim fender and this one is by far my favorite. It sounds just as good as it plays. I bought it at dayton guitar center and being able to try it out first sealed the deal. Plus the crew there is really knowledgeable and great to work with.

  • I am absolutely blown away by this guitar.

Everything about this guitar is just incredible. The knobs and toggle switch feel better than anything I've played before at this price point and even much higher. The tuning keys are smooth as silk. The neck is beyond anything else I have ever played. Buttery smooth and looking as good as it plays. The sound is amazing. Clean tones to high-gain heavy metal it just sounds and plays like a dream. it looks incredible with this deep blue sparkle finish. An amazing piece and I love playing this. This is, hands down, the finest and best feeling and playing guitar I have ever own. It looks incredible, sounds incredible and just an absolute joy to play!
