I've been eyeing up the Player II Strats for at least a year now, and I finally have one! It plays like a dream, sounds amazing, and the Racing Green color is absolutely gorgeous. It's super comfortable to play, even though it is pretty heavy.
Couldn't be happier

Purchased this Player II Ltd Ed British Racing Green Strat a bit over a month again and I couldn't be more pleased. Aside from a small relief tweak on receipt, the guitar plays great, quality is excellent, fret work and nut is perfect and it sounds great.
It's unmistakably a Strat

Let me start by saying that ultimately , this is a beautiful, wonderful sounding guitar. The rosewood fretboard is a nice improvement on the original player series. My only real complaint is that out of the box it was literally unplayable. I expect some intonation issues, some fret buzz, high action etc. But it was all that and more. Don't let it sway you though. After a proper set up it strats with the best of them.
Highly recommend

Great out of the box. Neck is much smoother than the Player 1 and I'm not sure if they're different but the pickups sound better. Maybe I'm blinded by the color and rosewood. Like John Lennon said Love isnt blind, it's deaf lol. Color has to be seen in person to really appreciate
love the way it looks and sounds.

went into guitar center and this one caught my eye. I tried the fender standard strat and the player ii was on a different league. The sound on the player was much better and the finish on the standard was worse that my squire affinity. I really liked the sound and the feel of the prs sky but this guitar has a slight better range and output. Switched the white to black and this thing looks killer.
Spectacular guitar for an intermediate and up player

I bought this guitar for the color and neck. I played it for a lil and then changed to a preloaded pick guard (Klein Epic 1954's) that addressed any electrical issues and improved the tone (although I think alot of players might like the pups that it came with) I like the OEM tuners so I kept those, changed the string tree, put strap lock buttons on. Gave it a set up and waxed the neck. I'll probably change the bridge and nut soon. Already it's now an amazing guitar in tone and feel
