Fender Pro Junior IV 15W 1x10 Tube Guitar Combo Amplifier
Description
The Pro Junior IV includes a 10 in. Jensen P10R speaker for tight, well-balanced output with plenty of high-end sparkle. The modified volume circuit breaks up more gradually, allowing precise gain adjustment to make tones that range from immaculately clean to devilishly mean, and offering tighter bass with improved definition when overdriven.
The stage-ready style features a lacquered tweed covering, vintage-style '50s grille cloth, chrome control panel with red jewel light and a leather handle, giving it the unmistakable look and vibe of a classic Fender amp. Reliable, flexible and pedal-friendly, the Pro Junior IV is an ideal addition to any electric guitarist’s amp collection.

Bought a used one through GC, without having a chance to try it out first. I am very pleased with the tone. Clear, articulate. No hum or hiss. Replaced the preamp tubes with a 12ay7 in V1 and a 12at7 in V2, which made it sound even better. This amp is much nicer than the Blues Jr that I had briefly in the past.

It's the perfect amp for my application which is playing at home. The size and Fender tone of the Pro Junior is all I need. I waited 6 months to see if there were going to be any issues before posting any comments and there hasn't been.
Small and loud enough. Fender tone!

Enough clean- ish headroom for gigs assuming you mic up or it's a small room. Easily loud enough to hear over drummer onstage. Very portable
simple yet sonic

I live in a very small space and needed something compact, yet full of tone. It took me a while to decide what I wanted and even had to return an amp because of how overwhelmingly big and loud it was. Glad I tried this amp out. It's not so small where you can't be taken serious, yet it looks amazingly stylish, bring back the old school look to a modern generation. It's so easy to set up, I'm a pedal kind of guy and I have quite a few so I didn't need anything that had all these bells and whistles, so the fact that this amplifier has a single volume and tone knob was a plus for me. The only other knob that should be on here would have to be a spring reverb and I would definitely buy again. Other than that, this amp seems to be sturdy, I'm not worried about getting a ding here or there, as for the volume it can get pretty loud. It's so easy to transport, you can pack up your amp quickly without any effort. Need it for a loud show? Just mic it up. I don't understand why I didn't get one of these before.
A superb sounding amp.

Playing 50+ years. Owned hundreds of guitars and many kinds of amps (tube, digital, solid-state, etc). The new-and-improved Pro Junior tops them all, even the Deluxe Reverb Re-issue I once gigged with. The sound of this amp blooms in such a warm, crystal-clear way. I was a bit worried it might break up too quickly and maybe deliver a dark-ish, brown, or tweed tone. But there is plenty of loud, clean headroom for home use and when driven the sound is smooth and creamy (and so much louder than you can imagine). Plus the sound is very balanced across frequencies, not boxy at all to me. Putting it on the floor brings out the bass. Elevated it sounds beautifully focused. I will be gigging with this in an Indie Pop band (probably without sound help) and using at home for rehearsal. I use a Strat with a Boss Super Overdrive and MXR Carbon Copy. Highly recommended! PS - It's not orange like the GC photos show, it's the typical tweed color.
