Fender Rumble Series Amps
Description
The Fender Rumble 500 2x10 500W Bass Combo Amp delivers massive tone and power in a portable package. Pumping out a ground-shaking 500W through two custom Eminence 10" speakers, this amp provides tight, punchy bass and defined mids along with a bright, articulate high end. A three-button voicing section lets you shape your tone, while the footswitchable overdrive adds a dose of grit and growl when you need to cut through the mix. Weighing in at only 36lb., the Rumble 500 is ideal for gigging and practice alike.
Custom-Designed Speakers Deliver Big Low End
The Rumble 500's twin 10" speakers were custom-designed by Eminence to provide extended low-frequency response and clear, balanced tone. Pushing 500W of power through these high-quality speakers results in tight, defined bass, warm mids, and bright, sparkling highs with plenty of volume on tap for any venue.
Footswitchable Overdrive Adds Dirt When You Need It
For extra aggression and punch, the Rumble 500 features a footswitchable overdrive circuit. Step on the optional footswitch to kick in the overdrive and unleash a dose of distortion tailored specifically for bass. Blend in as much overdrive as you want to add grit and sustain without losing low end. Release the footswitch to return to your clean tone.
Shape Your Sound with Onboard Voicing Options
A three-button voicing section provides tone-shaping options to suit any musical style. Select between a fast treble boost, a bass-heavy contour, or full-range flat response. You can also enable or disable the Bright switch to adjust high-frequency clarity. With all the onboard tone controls and voicing options, you have everything you need to craft your perfect bass sound.
Roadworthy and Ready to Rock
Weighing just 36.5lb., the Rumble 500 is ideal for gigging, rehearsals, and studio work. It features a durable plywood cabinet, reinforced corners, and recessed handles for maximum portability and protection. With 500W of power, the Rumble 500 packs enough punch for live shows while remaining compact and travel-friendly.

Love my Fender Rumble 500
I purchased the Fender Rumble 500 a few weeks ago and used it for the first time today at an outdoor event. I was totally pleased with this amp. It had way more power I would need. The main reason I purchased it was its lightweight 36 pounds. I can carry my bass and this amp in one trip. I had the master volume at "2"and I was plenty loud. I was totally pleased with it. I always loved the classic Fender look (I have a 1966 Bassman as well, and a Fender 112 Plus). I actually purchased the Fender Rumble 200 (1-15", 200 watts) before this and later noticed that the Rumble 500 (2-10", 500 watts) utilized the same exact cabinet, yet for $100 more I have more than twice the power at the same weight. My local Guitar Center had the Rumble 200 and Rumble 100 (1-12", 100 watts, 22 pounds) in the showroom and, because I wanted something with power, I purchased the Rumble 200. If, the Rumble 500 was there, I would have purchased it at the time. I'm considering purchasing the Rumble 100 for rehearsal use. At 100 watts and 22 pounds weight, it is a great portable amp. Depending on your situation, I would not hesitate to recommend any of the Fender Rumble bass amps. DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS: I would prefer the controls at the front of the amp, not the rear. I would also add an AC outlet (for devices, such as pedal tuner, pedal board, etc). I would also add a compartment on the back to keep, at least, the amp power cable and possibly, accessories (tuner, power strip, etc). Just a thought.

Great amp if not for the scratchy pots
The amp puts out a great tone, and I would have loved to keep it, except the volume pot was scratchy. I went through FOUR of these amps with a scratchy volume pot before I finally returned it and went with the GK MB212-ii, which I've not regretted for one second. I guess I just went through a bad batch because these have great reviews everywhere.. Just not from me.

I basically use this as my home amp. I like it because it has all the bells and whistles. I bought a bigger amp so that I won't have to upgrade later. I can always use my headphones if my family or neighbors think it's too loud. The horn switch is also an excellent feature and I like the plug ins for external speakers.
Just buy it !

This amp is awe inspiring. If there was a mic, you could drop it. The tone is warm and tight, the power is daunting. Use responsibly.

We got the first one for the band bass player-- we are quite loud (heavy rock) and it holds its own for practice. For shows, we DI out to two 12 in subs with a sub controller OR the house PA, and this setup covers it all. Bass player uses a preamp pedal. As for the second Rumble 500 we bought--- this is used for guitar. I use a line out of my guitar amp into the input jack of the Rumble. I add color by using the vintage and bright settings because It adds a unique character, lots of volume and palpable power to my guitar tone. These little amps are pretty cool in my opinion. From what I had been reading on these reviews, it is best to buy the extended warranty, which we did.
Great amp for the price, love the weight and tone.

I use this amp without any extension. I have a Aguilar Tone hammer, and Fender P-bass, and I love the tone. The Vintage button is awesome. If you are playing somewhere you need more power, you will have FOH Di anyway. But is super loud and fat to me.
