This capo works great with slim-necked guitars like the JEM, however whenever I use it with my Fender steel-string acoustic, either the first or sixth string are not correctly pressed. This causes a weak open note with no sustain whatsoever and an annoying buzz. To fix it you really have to press hard on it from both ends several times. So whatever the smart or practical concept was, it's clearly gone.

Always used the chip clip capos. My weird left hand style always gets into the handle when on the first fret. With this Fender capo its almost like playing on the nut. Easy to put on, take off and at least for me, much easier to play.
