This volume pot by another manufacturer was replaced by another store several years ago, and it failed prematurely under normal conditions. In addition, the technician at that store didn't install a unit that matched the original which was pointed out to me by the tech at Guitar Center.
These are for Telecaster knobs

Great quality. By mistake I bought these for my Strat and surprise: the knobs didn't fit. I had to buy the dome metal knobs, because solid shaft is thicker than the original strat potentiometers, sound an functionallity are the same though.
Gotta have OEM parts!

I used these on a used 1998 P-Bass I just bought where someone used low-grade replacement pots. The quality of these pots is far above that of average audio-taper pots you would find at the local electronics shop. The tone pot's range is a perfect gradual taper from treble-cut to full-range. The feel of the pot when you turn the knob is very smooth.
