This bass arrived in great condition, well packed in a shipping carton, the product box then a gig bag. The finish is perfect, the quilt maple veneers on the body and headstock ar nicely figured, the hardware is solid and properly fastened. The neck pocket it tight to the neck, the neck its self is nicely satin finished. The frets are level, polished and the edges are smooth. No issues at all with the electronics. The only minor issue is the tuning machines; they turn rather quickly and fine tuning is a bit harder than other instruments. They also are low friction and if the tuning heads themselves are bumped it can go out of tune easily. Tuning stability otherwise is very stable. I was worried about the tension on the strings and potential buzzing as the gages of the strings matches that of those used on standard scale instruments; this is a non issue, the strings have plenty of tension and I can play with a regular touch with no issues at all.
