    The Floyd Rose Special Series Tremolo has a standard post (pin) spacing of 74 mm, measured center-to-center. This is the same as most Floyd Rose Original, 1000 Series, and Special Series bridges. If you're measuring approximately 83 mm, double-check that you're measuring center-to-center of the pivot posts, not the outer edges. Sometimes the outer span can appear to be around 83 mm if you're not measuring center-to-center.
