Furman M-8DX Power Conditioner With Lights and Meter

Description
The Furman M-8DX Power Conditioner is an essential solution for safeguarding your audio equipment and achieving optimal sound quality. Packed with features for the discerning musician, producer or DJ, the M-8DX combines heavy-duty surge protection, electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) noise reduction, plus convenient rack illumination so you can focus on your craft.
Advanced Surge Suppression Protects Your Investment
With the M-8DX's robust surge and transient suppression circuitry, your valuable studio gear is shielded from dangerous power spikes and surges. Its fast-acting components clamp transient voltages to safe levels before they can damage your equipment. You'll have peace of mind knowing your instruments, processors, amplifiers and other gear are protected.
Clean, Distortion-Free Power for Pristine Sound
The M-8DX's EMI/RFI filter eliminates noise from sources like fluorescent lights, dimmers, radio transmitters and more so it can't contaminate your power supply and impact your sound. Your recordings and performances will benefit from power that's free of pops, crackles, hum and buzz for a noise floor that lets the full potential of your equipment shine through.
Illuminate Your Rack With Retractable Light Fixtures
When stages, studios and workspaces are dimly lit or dark, the M-8DX's retractable light fixtures provide discreet illumination so you can easily see your gear's displays and connections. A dimmer knob offers full control over the brightness. The lights retract fully into the unit when not in use.
Digital Voltmeter Monitors Incoming Power
With the M-8DX's built-in digital voltmeter, you'll always know the voltage of the power supply connected to your gear. If there are any fluctuations or the voltage seems too high or too low, you'll be aware right away and can take corrective action to avoid issues with your equipment.

Just picked this up. Fits perfectly into my SKB rack. Looks great with the meter. The Pull out lights are a cool feature and really help light up my SVT-3. Worked great right out the box. No complaints.

I use the driverack with my powered QSC subs. There's a big difference And improvement hooking it up to my speakers. They are also lots of things that I found out on my own that Make a huge difference makes in setting up the driverack. I recommend hooking the driverack to the Internet and using laptop or iPad to program it it makes it a lot easier. And if you want to hook it up to the Internet and you are not close to your Wi-Fi router get a range extender with Earth net port.

if a person was to get this item my question is this; can a person use this and then go a work and plug another power outlet into it like wee, looking for something like this with the readout, but can you plug in another something like the musicians outlet, and still get right readout??? hope your understanding my question here, on quote??
This is strictly a power conditioner. It will accept any normal 3 prong American plug, up to 8. You can't connect another power outlet to it. The readout simply indicates voltage regardless of what is plugged in.
