Fantastic!

This speaker is clear and articulate across the frequency spectrum. You have to try it to believe it honestly. The highs can be very bright without being spiky or hurting your ears, unlike say a Jensen c12. This is every bit as good as any replacement speaker you can find. It's fantastic, really. Not just for the money, but in its own right.

I bought this speaker and have recently tried it out with several different amps. I put it in a 1x12 cab and the first amp: Boss Katana. Sounds sweet and full, very responsive. I took the speaker and cab to GC and tried it with a Marshall dsl40hr, immediately better than the V-type. Fuller and more balanced. Tried it with a Marshall origin 50 combo, again much more fuller and more balanced. Tried it with a Friedman little sister head. Played it at rehearsal volume, absolutely sings! Tried it with a Supro Royale. The Supro had a 1x12 cab almost exactly the same size. The Supro speaker was good but the TB was better! More full on the lows and low mids. Tried it with a special edition Fender Princeton that has a celestion g12-65. It sounded just fine but I do like the g12-65 better in that amp. Also tried it with a Orange Super Crush 100. Also sounded good but the orange 2x12 closed back cab was better for that amp. I would highly recommend this speaker for certain applications. 1) any kind of digital modeling amp like the Fender champion series or the Marshall Code. Will almost certainly be a huge improvement. Also 2) Combo amps that are too bright or lacking lows like the DSL series and Origin series. I think it would also be better than some of the Jensen's that come in fenders. This is an American voiced speaker. The lows are full, highs are crisp and bright, mids are slightly subdued but present. Its pretty balanced over all. And I've never heard it fart out or get ice picky. By comparison the g12-65(silverback not creamback) has a slightly tighter bass response and a bit more mids. I like the g12-65 a lot, but for the money this speaker can't be beat!

Who makes the speaker? Celestion? EV? Peavey? Eminence?
I’m very sorry, the manufacturer has not made that information available.
