Bendable, Bright, Reasonable Dynamics

I play with considerable vibrato and bending, mostlly finger picking. 12s kill my fingers after the first hour and compromise bending up to accurate pitch. 10s buzz and quack cause they can't handle any dynamic. I play exclusively grand auditorium acoustics with 25" strong length—Taylor 322 and Artwood AV4. These GHS 11s are heavy enough to deliver good tone and intonation with ample dynamic range and allow me bend notes accurately without pain or fatigue. I have gotten huge mileage with the set I put on the Taylor over a year ago because I like how the sound has become ever more woody on this mahogany instrument. I prefer changing out the strings on the factory aged spruce AV4 much more frequently because, when fresh, the harmonic rich bright bronze tone of these GHS strings creates a stunning acoustic tone on this instrument. The amplified tone also speaks well of these quality strings.
