I love these strings !!! Heavy E string and G string sounds fuller ..... Solid sound !!! Maybe a little rougher on fingers...but I will take the discomfort for great Tone !!! The E string was barely long enough....wrapped to low....hits bridge. Might just be a 1 time thing though. Still sounds great though.....

I bought these strings because they were the heaviest gauge I could find. I tuned them down to Drop-A and had a blast. Then I noticed that my 4th string was sitting ON the nut instead of in the groove, and I decided to buy smaller strings that were the proper size. I didn't get to play with them for long, but I can't complain. They weren't particularly easy on the fingers, but mine aren't any worse than before I bought these strings.

These Bass strings are awesome. Such great deep tone. Every one at church notices the Bass being played. I will use these strings for my other 5 Bass guitars.

GHS are the greatest strings ever made and they are the only ones that make the gauge i like. I tried Ernie Ball Hybrid slinky strings and absolutely hated em I tried standard rotosound strings and hated em i slapped on the heavy gauge GHS strings and i never looked back. I recommend these strings to everyone whether you play country, jazz, hip hop, or blues these strings are great.

The heavier gauge of these GHS strings make it possible to achieve drop tunings with out fret buzz. I am currently playing with a metal band and I tune to drop-d and drop-c tunings and these strings hold tune with minimal fret buzz.
