Hey, Everyone I bought these strings today i put them on my B.C Rich and i dont know if the strings have to wear in or what but i dont think these strings sound like Death Metal. Its a very thick string! it has very tight action very hard to do slides. The best thing for these strings are solos! i would not suggest this to Death Metal musicians.

I played these strings and I have GHS Zakk Wylde Lo tunes on both my guitars. These strings are the most durable strings ever, they play great, they are perfect for soloing and then switching back into a heavy drop D or C riff. They are a bit hard to play for anything that isn't metal or rock though.

Im sure these strings are fine if you are playing death metal or zakk wylde type music, but thats it. they split your guitar into half. they give you the low e a and d for power chords and the g b and high e for shredding, but if you want to play pentatonics or licks all over the fretboard you will get stopped by the big hulking low strings.

these GHS Zakk Wylde Boomers arent the best strings for you or your guitar, they arent the best strings for bending or pinching. i stuck them on my gibson les paul about a year ago and my neck couldnt handle the stress and the neck fractured and split. and if you stick them on a guitar with a tremelo bridge then they will just pull your bridge up and screw it up

These strings are killer (GHS Zakk Wylde Signature Electric Guitar Strings)!!! They have all the loud, murderous sounds of Zakk Wylde in one package. They are HUGE ao they can downtune to a sound lower than almost any string you can buy! I love these strings, and I guarantee you'll love them too!!!

The Zakk Wylde signature GHS strings are the best and most durable strings I have ever played. They just barely fit my Les Paul because they are so thick. The sound is amazing from these and they allow you to drop tune with such ease. I have never owned GHS strings but I know now I'll never own anything different.
