    A couple caveats....these are GROUND WOUND, so if you're looking for that ribbon smooth feel of flats, these are not for you. These have that ghs feel to them...a little higher tension...could be the slightly heavier gauge, which is also a nice middle ground, from standard gauge sets.

    Strings sound ok but have a sticky feel to them when on the bass. Wished I had realized that and cleaned them with Scotchbrite before install. I now remembered that I had bought a set of these a long time ago and sent those back. Will lube these somehow and move on since it is probably too late to return.
