The redesigned core-to-cover ratio gives GHS acoustic guitar strings increased brightness and flexibility without harsh overtones.

Sensitive raw materials and bulk products are further wrapped in protective bags for storage.     My steel string guitar is a Seagull S6-Folk model that I bought a few years ago. It's worn a variety of strings during that time, with the latest and longest running being a Silk and Steel set of 11's. I was looking for something brighter, more bell-like, and not too heavy in gauge. These GHS extra-light phosphor/bronze are right on target for my personal wants and needs. My experience and perception of the sound can be described as Chime-like and not tinny.
