Gallien-Krueger

collapse expand iconDescription

The MB112-II has enough power to cut through the mix at rehearsals as well as well as gigs but wont break your back getting there. With 200 watts of output through the 12" Paragon driver and the same 4 band active "variable Q" equalizer and contour control of GK's legendary RB Series amplifiers, this combo will deliver the volume and tone pros have come to expect from GK.

The Auxiliary input allows you to play along to your favorite songs through the internal speaker or through the Headphone output for late night jamming. The MB112-II is also ready for your next gig with features like XLR output with pre/post switch for easy interfacing with P.A. systems and exclusive "Chain Output" to drive GK's MBP Series of powered enclosures when you score that outdoor gig where a little move volume is required.

Loud and Lots of punck 200 W ! Having the great sound quality of Gallien Krueger I purchased it as an alternative to 4x12 guitar amp because I'm older each day and tired of carrying heavy equipment to mid sized gigs. This guy has the punch of a bass amp which is the main feature I need for my micro portable amp. I use it with a multi use guitar modeling signal processor. I had tried that just kidding with my ex- bassist amp in a rehearsal...OMG! I was amazed. If you do the right tweeking in the equalizer this works much better than a guitar amp. Love my gear!

Got tired of lugging around my 65lb Hartke. At 30lbs this one is perfect. Nothing extra but everything you need. EQ, contour notch, xlr out, and a great full, round, crisp sound.

I bought this after a recommendation by a friend who had an older model. I'm very happy with it.

I own 4 bass amps and this is now my "go to" guy. It is quite powerful for its size and has serious bottom end. It's a grab-and-go that I can carry with one hand, fit in my vehicle and still cut the gig. Then there is the price, half of what I was going to pay for the "orange speaker" equivalent mp.

  • Not enough headroom

Being a GK guy I was hoping it would cover my small gigs, and it sounded good if you were up and close, but out front it got lost.
