Gard

collapse expand iconDescription

Gard Bags have long been a favorite among musicians at all levels needing quality protection at a reasonable price. The Mid-Bag Suspension series builds upon this popularity. In ordinary bags, the trumpets rest on the bottom of the bag. If dropped, the protruding parts are likely to be dented. Using strategically placed blocks of padding the Mid-Bag Suspension series "suspends" your instrument away from the sides. Further stabilizing the instrument is a dense foam cone mounted on a hard disc on the inside of the case. This suspension system reduces the risk of dings or dents if the bag knocks into a wall or is dropped from a short distance. Like all Gard Bags, the Mid-Bag Suspension series features a water resistant nylon or buffalo leather exterior, rugged zippers, soft interior flap to protect the instrument from the zipper, and shoulder strap.

  • Changed the color of my trumpet!

I was very happy to get this case for a decent price, but it literally changed my trumpet color. I've played the trumpet for 14 years and never did my trumpet color change like this while it was sitting in a case. I have two bach silver trumpets and they are nearly half purple. It's kind of like when you keep your trumpet out in the open for a while and it changes color.. except it was in the trumpet case and frequently used. One of my trumpets is only 3 years old and it literally looks like a 20 year old trumpet that has never been polished. I can't find any information on why the case might do this to my trumpet..
