    I'm a sax player. The stand is a good move for me in my efforts to size down some of the gear and weight I normally carry to gigs and set up on stage.....especially when I'm only working with a trio or quartet Jazz - Blues and/or R&B bands. I still use my larger rig for the 5 piece or larger groups I work with, especially the Classic Rock bands.
