Great buy!
This is a fantastic tool for keeping up with the tuning fork, slide, allen wrenches and your drink. For now, I have mine attached to a bar stool leg for access to the drink holder. When attached to a music stand, unless you mount it low, any bottled water or travel container is too tall and will get in the way of the music stand tray. I give this 5 stars due to the convenience that it allows to keep up with the smallest tools, screws and anything that'll fit on the tray. There's only 1 thing you may want to modify in order to hold the weight of a 16 oz water bottle. This accessory tray bracket has a foam strip to allow extra grip between the medal clamp and the medal bar stool leg or tray stand leg or where ever it's attached. With the weight of a water bottle, the tray may slide down the stool leg over the a short time causing the foam strip to slide off the clamp, exposing medal to medal. I wrapped black electrical tape around the clamp and foam strip to add extra grip and it solved the problem.

I would try a different brand
For the most part, I was happy with the tray. The bottom screwed on piece to the tray was not tight, there was a small gap between that piece and the tray that made the tray wobbly. I had to cut a couple of pieces of cardboard to keep that piece tight to the tray which kept the tray steady when it was clamped on to the stand. Once I solved that issue, it was perfect but cannot give it a full 5 stars due to that problem.

Exactly what I was looking for. I'm playing a few shows coming up here and don't like having my phone, picks, and other accessories on my music stand with my music. This will give me dedicated space for those things and other accessories. The pick holder is very unique and better than leaving them on a flat surface and struggling to pick them up. #sweepstakes

Under $20 as I type this! You can't beat this solution for the solo performing musician. The tray is easily secured to any microphone stand and has a low-profile. Drink holder is deep enough for most beverage containers. The rim is a smart feature. #sweepstakes

Is there any way to attach this to the upper portion of a mic stand with a boom extension? In other words, the boom arm that's on an angle. Obviously the tray needs to sit level to be useful so it would need some kind of angle or ball joint and I can't tell from the photos.
No. It would have to be attached to the vertical portion of the stand.No. It would have to be attached to the vertical portion of the stand.
