Excellent case with a couple of drawbacks
I still give this a 5star rating. For the price it's excellent. It's very comfortable to carry. The latches are easy to use. It's durable, much better constructed than a case that sells for $30 less that I looked at. It fits my 35" string length MTD 5-string with length to spare. Drawbacks: Obviously no concealed compartment inside so everything is visible when you open it at a gig, so a pouch for those private items is useful. (The lid seals the two aux compartments so things don't fly around loose.) I have to rotate the top tuner flat or the tuner rests on the bottom of the case (something to remember and never forget although not really major). "TSA Approved" implies you'd be flying with this thing... not a custom fit case to careful inner packing would need to be considered, right?

Underwhelmed
Sturdy enough, but uncomfortably narrow for my Aerodyne jazz bass' lower bout, so I returned it. I was also disappointed by how thin the plush lining was. I'll keep an eye out for a sale on the Fender case.

I bought a Lakeland 55-94 a year ago, very expensive bass that came with a nice hard shell. After a year of use, I could tell the case wouldn't stand a test of time. This Flight Pro case felt to be sturdy as I need, but it would get a fifth tic if it had an enclosed cavity inside for accessories like what was in the Lakland case. My other beef is the latch design. Very easily released when touched on the bottom, which makes me nervous. It's probably OK and with four of them, not too likely that all of them would release accidentally. But, with imaginative thinking, there's a chance. Got to be a better design that is bulletproof. Would I buy the Flight Pro again? Maybe, but I'd be open to another if I found something better.

I have cats and kids that knock everything down so I needed a case that would protect my new Jackson JS2 bass. After doing an online chat with Julio at Guitar Center, he confirmed that this case would fit the bass fine. It does. It fits perfectly and has room to put some accessories as well. The simple lock is nice too, for keeping kids out. They can play their own guitars and leave mine alone!
