Sturdy, thick padding, extra padding at the bottom, and comfortable. Huge storage space (deeper than it looks on the pictures but I would say it probably won't fit anything bulky but music books and laptops fit great).

Perfect fit for my vintage modified Squier Jaguar full scale bass. I was hoping it would also fit my Jaguar Special short scale bass, but it's a little to long for a snug fit. Still a great bag for the 'long necks'.

Why does the backpack straps have clip on buckles? Would that be dangerous since it's kind of easily removed? Just curious thx.

No. They stay in place very well. The main reason for them are if the strap needs to be removed or replaced it can be done really easily. But they won't just pop off randomly.

Is the pocket deep at all? It looks big but will I be able to fit some music books/Macbook 13 inch into it without pressing the actions and bridge? Thanks

It will fit a Macbook and 1 or 2 books but beyond that may be pushing it.
