The interior of the Gator bag is reinforced at the headstock and bridge to provide extra protection for the parts that need it most. I had the lower zipper break on me

Bag was pretty good for the price, but for some reason the zipper started separating underneath the lower zipper. tried to pull the lower zipper down to re-align everything, and it came off. I would have been happy with it otherwise.

    Great for keeping the dust off my bass when put up in the closet. I have even used it to transport back and forth to practice. It's not a hard case, but it will keep scuff marks and scratches away.

    Works as hoped- a light duty bag for putting bass in a closet, under bed, etc. Works to carry to church, I would not trust it on any sort of rough gig or commute. Well worth the price, but if you need subway- or band van- level protection, look elsewhere. Not the cheapest bag, but I wanted just a little more than a dust cover.
