    I didn't order this item through GC but I found it to be the best-built and most secure mic stand of 3 that I had tested. It's clamped to my short music stand and holds my Yamaha THR5A practice amp along with a few accessories. I lined the pan with non-slip liner.

    I haven't actually used it at a gig, but this shelf is even more sturdy than I thought. The entire thing is metal, which should allow it to hold up just about anything. And the clamp is massive, should fit on just about anything I can imagine.

    This little tray is really handy! I have it attached to a mic stand that I have a tablet holder already attached to while teaching guitar lessons. I'm using it to hold my Tascam G/B-10 guitar trainer, & my hi-rez audio player. I've also used it to hold my DigiTech Trio Plus, & my Tascam DP-008 8-track recorder! I was surprised how well it fit the tray, & with a little wiggle room to spare. This meets my needs perfectly.
