After losing my last set of Roland V-Drums out the back of my truck I purchased the Roland VAD706 V-Drums, I made sure I purchase drum bags and couldn't be any happier. There' great!

  • Tight fit due to tom mounts.

Used to store and transport a 22x18 bass, 10, 12, and 14 toms. Tight fit around the STM tom mounts. Don't know if they'd fit around RIMS mounts. Padding seems adequate. Will not be doing extensive transport.

These bags are as advertised. My one concern was that I like to keep my tom rim mounts on my toms when transporting and I was worried with these softies, there wouldn't be enough room on the inside for the mounts. In actuality, they have the perfect amount of space inside for the tom rim mounts to fit in with the drum. These are perfect for the "sometimes gigger" who moves his gear in his car or SUV. I wouldn't recommend them for heavier giggers who use trailers or bands on tour. You'd need a hard shell to protect your gear in those situations. But if you're playing just a few times a month, these are excellent. I also love them because I just bought a new SUV and the soft cases won't scratch the plastic or damage the fabric in the car's interior. These bags come with straps making them easy to carry all drums in one go. I highly recommend them.

I was torn between getting higher quality bags that would have a lot more padding, and I was leery of these Gator 100 level bags - until I got them. They fit my Gretsch Renown Maples' rim mounts just fine. These bags are great if you want something to protect your drums from dings and to protect the heads. I got these, not to necessarily protect the drums but to make them easier to carry - easier to load into a vehicle. The shoulder straps allow you to carry 3 toms and a snare in one trip. I would still recommend hard cases if you are loading into a trailer, or on tour, but when you are loading into an SUV or car where you will not be stacking stuff real high. These are great. They will not protect a drum from a high drop, but they afford a decent amount of protection. Overall, these are a great value. They have real sturdy zippers and handles and also have a good warranty. They will make gigging a dream. I'm glad I didn't pat $250 for bags, as I will use the extra money to get hard cases when the time comes.

What are the sizes of each bag? Drums come in all different sized. I thought you would for certain have the size of each bag way up front.
