    This case was perfect for my Bass Amp Head - Hartke HA3500 - with a couple of modifications. Just needed to grind a couple of clearance openings in the top of the bottom aluminum frame rail in the back of the case to accommodate sliding it in without removing the rubber feet from the amp head, which support it nicely on the raised sections of the molded case. It was just enough clearance with the rack mount ears removed to slide it in and it protruded enough, out the front, to allow re-installation of the rack ears before sliding it back into it's final resting place and fastening it to the rack rails. It protrudes just a bit, in the back, but not enough to hamper installation of the back cover door. I think this case will last quite a while.

    I have two of these ... one for the Hartke LH500 bass amp and one for an Ampeg B-2R rack mount bass amp. One minor glitch was on one of them, there's a slight slant when the amp is mounted because of alignment issues. Not too noticeable at all, but it is an issue.
