The original 1975 Model 2459, for instance, featured a large, angular body similar to the Explorer. However, later models, such as the DT-250 introduced in 1984, had a more compact, X-shaped body. If your mid-80s Ibanez Destroyer closely resembles the Gibson Explorer in size and shape, it's likely to fit snugly within the Gator GW-EXP case.
