I needed a case for my grandfather's vintage 1960s Crucianelli semi hollow. It was initially a snug fit, but the case has since adjusted to the guitar's form. It's a case, it does its job. There's some tiny glue stickiness at one end, & the handle is a little stiff-but it's okay.

  • Good, but watch the quality control

I recently got a Sire H7, which doesn't come with a case. When I decided I'd buy one there wasn't a wood case available locally. I don't like the plastic SKB style cases and I didn't want to spend several hundred dollars on a case for a $700 guitar. This Gator case made the most sense so I ordered one through GC. It arrived in great condition, and I like the case very much overall. But there was a flaw in the construction that made the guitar sit crooked in the case so that one side of the tuning keys were against the side of the case instead of centered. (see pics) That's certainly less than optimal for its safety. I called GC customer service and they handled it supremely well. They essentially exchanged it for me by processing a return for the first case and ordering the new one all while on the phone with me. I was able to keep the guitar in the first case until the new one showed up at the store and I could simply exchange them. The new one fit properly and everything is great now. :)

I have a 335 style 12 string. The larger headstock puts the guitar length at 42.75". Will this case accommodate that?
