The ICON Series G-ICONELECTRIC Gig Bag from Gator is designed to store and protect your electric guitar. Featuring a multi-layered semi-rigid construction with a weather-resistant black nylon exterior and a soft interior lined with micro-velvet fabric. An exterior pop-out luggage tag and an interior serialized bag tracker with a laser-etched QR code allows for quick registration/identification.     I really appreciate the thought and engineering that goes into both their hard case and the icon which I just recently purchased to fly from Tampa to New Orleans. The guitars fit nice and snug and secure, and both cases are really light. The icon, being the newest one is so amazing and lightweight, especially with the shoulder straps the tuck away. Everything about this case is so convenient for the traveling musician. I can't recommend it highly enough. The only thing that I would like to see them do differently or in addition, is the add some rings along the outside surface so that a couple of small carabiners could piggyback gig bags and pedal board bags to the outside to make getting through the terminal easier .

    I know Gator sells an ICON case specifically for Les Pauls, but I've had 3 brands of electric guitar cases (Incase, Mono case, and Fusion Bags) and I've always been able to fit a Les Paul in them. Can you confirm that a Les Paul fits in this case? It's 2.5 inches narrower than the LP case but I don't see why it wouldn't work.
