Gator guitar case

It's ok. I got it for my Fender Special Edition Jaguar Thinline. The case is a little too long for it, (about 3" too long), so I bought a large black bath towel to help with better fitting. It's a tad too wide also, maybe a 1/4"-1/2". I tried a G&G Fender Jazzmaster case I already have, but it was a little too tight. Perhaps another Fender Jaguar like a American, or MIM would fit ok, don't know! The CIJ Jaguar is a little thicker than the other two. But I'm only casing for home use anyway, so it'll do. Features: Ok for home use, but not really good for gigging. It would not meet up to my expectations because of too much movement of the guitar inside the case. Q and R: Have had the case a few weeks. Built ok just not for the Jaguar specifically. Look and Feel: Looks like a good guitar case! Large storage Compartment for a Strap and other accessories (Strings and picks).

Really?!!

Just got a PRS SE Custom 22 Semi-Hollow and it only comes with a nice gig bag. As a professional player, I need a hard shell case that will snugly fit my instrument. I chatted with a couple of GC folks online and they recomended this case, even though the pics online didn't convince me that it would work. I was assured that if it didnt fit my new guitar, I could return it with free shipping. Whereas it is a hardshell case, one would have to customize the interior in order to snug up their guitar. This case does not come with any foam to do that with; instead, it has a large square area where the guitar body would to be; it's more of the size of a Gibson ES 335 body (I didnt measure for the Gib, just an eyeball) than that of my new guitar. Even though you could put a PRS inside the case, it would flop and bang around in there and end up all kinds of damaged! Take a close look at the pics and make your judgement call. Sadly GC does not carry any PRS brand hard shell cases, or I would buy from them! After I opened up the case and put in the guitar, I promptly repackaged it for a return back to GC. It otherwise seems like it's a decent case for the money, but I didnt scrutinze longer than 30 seconds. I otherwise shop almost exclusively with GC.

    `I ordered this case to fit an Epiphone Lee Malia RD Custom because Epiphone doesn't make a case that will fit that model. This case is a very nice fit except for the neck cradle support isn't wide or deep enuf but that is an easy modification.

    Good case for what I needed, it feels a tad on the cheap side if you compare it to a GG or something like that but it also costs much less, so it's exactly what I was after all things considered. I have a Mexican Jaguar and it fits great on the body but it's a little longer than it needs to be but doesn't impact protection, just makes it not fit in my cars small trunk.

    Just looks like a type generic case. I should've sprung out more cash for the Fender one or some other type. There's nothing Gator about it. Just the Gator name.
