I have Levy's straps on all my stage & studio basses and several are the 3" Neo straps so I didn't hesitate when they came out with this new design. The on-the-fly adjustment system works as advertised and is very handy for quick tweaks onstage and stays in place once adjusted so no faults there. My only gripes are while the strap is slightly wider than the standard Neo its also noticeably thinner and not as robust as its predecessor so it lost a half star there. The other half star I docked it is because the leather tab that attaches the strap to the bottom end pin is much, much smaller and thinner than the one on the standard Neo, as is the nylon piece that it connects to, so overall its a much lighter, flimsier system but if you're looking for light weight in a strap you probably won't be bothered by it. It also tends to have more bounce to it than the older one but thats pretty common in a Neo and definitely not so noticeable as to make it a deal breaker. On the whole I really like the system and I attached mine to my new Ibanez EHB1005SMS and between the lightweight bass and the Neo strap it is one of the most comfortable combinations I've ever played.
