Does what it is supposed to

This anchor works pretty good by itself. It is the same concept as the spikes coming off of the sides of your bass pedal. For the best stability, I would recommend using this in addition to the spikes on your pedal. The only downside to this is scratching your resonant bass hoop. If cosmetics are not an issue, and you are having problems with stability, this should solve your problems.

Would not recommend!

Legs are too short and you have to bend it to fit contour of the hoop.Junk,what a waste of money!

    I purchased this anchor for a suitcase kick drum that I repurpoaed myself. It works great for this application and I'm sure it would work on a regular kick drum also
