Last upgrade to complete my 1964 vintage Ludwig Trap Set, after blowing out original Speed King Bass Pedal - Replaced in 1994, + Added 3 piece REMO Roto-Tom rig and replaced drum heads all around (5th set since '64 think). 2021 - Been tired of Limited cymbals 20" Ziljian long Ride on single stand & 16" Ziljian Medium Crash on single TAMA Stand which has larger diameter Tubing 1"base, 3/4" mid,, 5/8" upper. So I purchased the Gibraltar Cymbal Long Boom Attachment Clamp along with a 14" Ziljian Medium Thin Crash Cymbal to attach to the TAMA Mid-Tube 3/4" section. PERFECT, took few minutes to work out angle of the arm to get enough height, WORKS GREAT, very sturdy. After 57 years, I finally have my 3rd cymbal, I'm happy.

  • Good stuff for the price

This clamp and boom attachment holds my 8 in splash and my 12 in china cymbals. It looks and feels like good quality, sturdy material. It has many adjustment points and an really long boom so you can place your cymbal at a desired and comfortable position. I would just make sure that the cymbal stand it's attached to has a nice, good base just to be sure to protect your investment into your cymbals because cymbals aren't cheap! It would be really nice if it came with rubber grips on the clamp portion to not scratch or damage the cymbal stand you're attaching it to. But I can't complain much for the awesome price it's being sold at.

i own two and they easily clear my 20'' ride to hold a 14'' china my other one mounts perfectly onto the arm that holds my toms to hold a 12'' splash. i am planning on buying another one because they save a lot of floor space. I would recommend checking if your stands have wide bases because a lot of the time the weight distribution will cause the stands to tip

Its a very good product, it feels well built and the arms are long enough to clear my 18inch crash and they could probably clear a 20inch cymbal.

  • Works perfectly.

This clamp is well-made. It's sturdy and has plenty of adjustments that allowed me to find the right spot for positioning my new K Hybrid 9" splash.
