Gibraltar is solid and not too expensive. Got this for my grandson who I'm teaching to play. He'll be able to use this for a long time. Bought 4 all together, plus a Gibraltar throne. All seem to be very high quality. I'm sold on Gibraltar hardware.

I use this stand with a 16" crash cymbal. The stand is well made and relatively light weight, but provides plenty of support.

This is an exceptional stand for mounting 10 or 12" toms rather than to drill the bass drum
