Gibraltar Eye Bolt Assembly

It took a while to find this part i needed for my vintage 1971 camco set. It was great fixing my cymbal stand instead of buying a new stand . Thank you Guitar Center.

I've been building and refurbishing my own drums for about 2 years now, starting with a second--hand Premier set. They're fantastic drums-- until you try moving them for practice. So that's why I started working on my second set; smallish, nestable drums and light weight but secure hardware. Now nobody makes light weight hardware, it's all over kill and backbreaking to move. So I bought some 6061 Aluminum tubing and a few pieces and some hard but light wood and started building. I used these for custom tom leg brackets, very quick: square tubing and one of these bolts. I found these were a better deal than eye-bolts I was about to order from an industrial supplier. (You'd think it would be the other way around.) On top of that, they're shiny. Like I say, what would we do without Gibraltar?
