The arm rotates and angles as needed and is very flexible for cymbal positioning. It's also easy to adjust and doesn't move around once all the nuts are tightened. I'm currently using it for a splash cymbal mounted to a boom cymbal stand.

I have two of these arms and they serve their purpose. The only issues I've found with it are that even if you fully tighten it, there is still a lot of space so your cymbal can move too much if you're constantly hitting said cymbal. It also doesn't always fell as sturdy.

Great for accent cymbals if you don't have a rack.

  • I've bought several of these for different kits

I like this arm because it improves my set up with out annoying stands and legs in the way. Holds my 21" ride perfectly by clamping on to my right side crash stand.

Gibraltar Grabber Cymbal Arm (SC‑GCA) **Tilter:** Standard geared tilter • Uses a toothed worm-gear-style angle adjustment • Offers fine tuning but requires loosening/tightening of a knob Arm Length: 18″ (boom portion) Clamp Style: Grabber clamp that attaches to existing cymbal or tom stands Diameter: 12.7 mm boom tube Gibraltar Grabber Cymbal Arm with Brake Tilter (SC‑GCA‑BT) Tilter Mechanism: 360° gearless brake tilter • Friction-based, no gears or worm screws • Quick, tool-free angle adjustments; locks instantly when you release the brake lever Arm Length: Same 18″ boom (12.7 mm diameter) Clamp and Fit: Identical grabber clamp—fits same stands and cymbals. The main difference between the Gibraltar Grabber Cymbal Arm and the Grabber Cymbal Arm with Brake Tilter lies in their tilter mechanisms. The standard Grabber (SC-GCA) uses a traditional geared tilter that requires loosening and tightening a knob to adjust the cymbal angle, offering precise but slower positioning. In contrast, the Brake Tilter version (SC-GCA-BT) features a gearless, friction-based brake tilter that allows quick, smooth, and tool-free adjustments—ideal for players who frequently reposition cymbals. Both models share the same 18″ boom length, 12.7 mm tube diameter, and grabber-style clamp, making them equally compatible with most drum setups.
