Gibraltar

The Gibraltar hi-hat clutch functions like a snare drum throwoff. Disengage and drop the top cymbal by hitting the clutch with a drumstick. Step on the pedal and the clutch attaches itself at its original position.

have had SEVERAL of these & work well, but understand they DON'T LAST FOREVER!!! w/daily usage (as in my case), the spring eventually breaks -rendering it useless... VERY GOOD -BUT NOT PERFECT! (listening, Gibraltar??)

  • Nice drop clutch at a very reasonable price.

This thing comes in clutch! It is much better than the off brand drop clutch that came on my hi-hat stand. The only thing is that the rubber padding rips and falls of after hitting it a few times. other than that it works like it should. Flawlessly.

I bought this clutch a few weeks ago and it works pretty well, but when you drop the clutch and you have the clutch set so you can pointer finger in between the two hi-hat cymbals and you hit the drop clutch lever and do a hard hit the bottom part of the clutch will slide up then lock back up but it still rocks

  • IT'S AMZING,almost

I just recently purchased this item and it packs a punch and works properly except for if you hit your hi-hat in the released position and hit it to hard the clutch will go back into the locked position. But it still rocks!
