Great Drum Throne

This throne is big and very comfortable. I have used this throne for almost 3 months now and it's one on the best thrones I have ever used. It's strong and easy to adjust the height and lower with the hyrdraulic tube adjust. Most thrones you can't make that quick adjustment and you can even adjust while playing so that's what make this a great throne to me.

No way to lock the seat rotation

Is it just me? You can adjust the height up and down but the seat swivels around freely, and I can't find any locking mechanism. I feel like I'm on an amusement park ride. The enclosed instruction sheet refers to the correct model number but has a picture of a screw-adjustable throne. If you buy this throne, be prepared for a loose ride...

    This is the first throne I ever bought and it is as comfy as a sofa. Never uncomfortable while playing and spins easy. It is sturdy and a great looking throne, love the red stitching.

    This is a very comfortable seat and the swivel function helps when turning on a big set. The spring action feels just right without it being excessive so you don't lose timing. I highly recommend it!!

    I love this throne however I'm not a drummer, at least not anymore. I use this for playing classical guitar although it would be a good chair no matter how you hold your guitar. I bought this one because there were complaints about other thrones on the market that caused legs to go numb because the abrupt edge on the chair was cutting off circulation when sitting stationary for a while. This one has nicely cushioned edges that are somewhat tappered so no issue with numb legs. I also have a bad back and I think this chair encourages me to sit more upright. I did not buy the back brace however.
