I own 2 of these bad "ass" thrones and I'm purchasing a 3rd as I write this review (3 sets of drums so). Comfortable, durable and those backaches that use to plague me after those 4 hour gigs with the cheap seats.....THEY GONE!! Now I just hope they don't discontinue it!

  • I did, I have two of these.

I purchased my first Gibraltar throne and used it with my set at my church. I just purchased my second throne to use at home with my practice set. It's the best for a tall big guy. 6'5" 350 lbs.....

  • Very comfortable! Sturdy!

I weigh 280 pounds and I need a sturdy throne. This one is killer. Heavy and sturdy base and heavy, plush cushion up top with a felt covering. I should have bought one a long time ago!

  • Great product!

Great product! Very sturdy and almost indestructible so I don't worry about it when I'm traveling with it.

Choosing the right throne is important. I was using a round seat, by the end of the night I would get leg cramps and couldn't wait to get up. After using this one I don't know why I didn't replace my old one sooner. Cushion in well made, seat height adjustability has a good range and most of all the seat is designed with leg cut outs that reduce pressure and stresses on your legs. I like this throne so much I think I will get the back rest too.

This is a very comfortable throne and the cutouts are great for fitting your legs compared to the counter-intuitive traditional circular style. Those push into your hamstrings where as this style allows them to be free of that pressure while still feeling very stable and comfortable. The seat looks absolutely huge when you set it up but it doesn't feel bulky or oversized when you sit on it and play. I love this and will not go back to a traditional circular throne.
