    This is a Rock solid clamp that will NOT slip. The clamps open wide enough to hold on to even the cymbal stand. I actually mounted my 12 in tom to a boom stand with this, and that says a lot being that the stand for my tom is old and huge. The thing about this product that really shines is that both of the clamps rotate allowing you to mount into virtually any position, buy it.
