    I got this to help convert my floor tom to a cocktail kit. I attach it to the top of one of the floor-tom legs, and I hang my 10" snare on it. Boom, no snare stand required. I ordered three, but two are on backorder. I intend to use the others on the remaining legs of my floor tom: one to hang a 10-or-12" tom, and one to attach a cymbal boom. With this set-up, the only time I would need a stand is if I decided to take a hi-hat.
