This is one of those little items that you think would not make a difference, but it does! I wish I knew about this item years ago; way better than using felt pads or other products that supposedly offer support but only dampen the sound. This little item keeps your bottom hi-hat cymbal flat, which increases it contact with the top cymbal, which makes for much better sound coming from your hi-hat. If you're looking for something that doesn't cost much and will improve your sound and set-up, this is the little piece to add. What a difference! Every hi-hat should have this on it as a stock item from the factory. Wow!
Great replacement.

Bought this after I upgraded my 14's to Sabien Heavy Rock style hats. The stand I have is fine but the seat was problem with the new hats. Bought this problem solved. Better clap, better click, more stable for a great price.
Good upgrade piece

Might be less than 3 dollars but ive noticed a big difference in my high hats after buying this seat. The stock hi hate seat didnt keep my bottom high hat level and stable most of the time, i swapped it out with this one and ive noticed a big difference with my high hats being stable and even. They also get a better swishing sound and louder clap sound when you close the hats with the pedal. You wouldn't realize how much of a difference a small piece of plastic would make!! Id recommend this for anyone who buys a high hat stand, its a good upgrade to make and costs under 3 dollars.
