Quality Throw. Put it on a PDP Ace Brass Snare without needing to modify mounting holes.

My snare drum didnt accomadate this throwoff so i had to drill a hole into the shell once i got it on (shouldve put the throwoff a bit higher). i tuned up my drum and put the snares on. it took some fine tuning to finally get the snare sound where i wanted it when it was on and where the snare didnt vibrate when it was off. the feel of the throwoff itself is quite smooth. my first throwoff was stiff and it took some time to move it down. this is a quick action. it is also chrome like all of the other gibraltar hardware out there. i really do recommend this throwoff as it stands up to the gibraltar name.

I'm wondering if this would swap out with a Yamaha throw. The holes on the Yamaha is 1 1/2 inches from the center of the holes.

We do show that it was put on a PDP Ace Brass Snare without needing to modify mounting holes. Your specific PDP Pacific snare should retrofit this throw off.
