The extra-large diameter (1.04") of this Super L-rod fits directly into a multi-clamp for strength and stability. It works with Gibraltar SC-STL2 and SC-STL3 mounts. The component has a 1.04"-diameter on one end and a 1/2"-diameter on the other end with a 6"-long knurled mounting area.

    These things are great if you're like me and you want to have a "real virgin kick drum" in that I don't even have spurs on mine. I use two of the new ludwig lug/mounts [remove a lug and bolt it on, no holes required and universal, it will fit any bolt pattern] and then use the super L rods to mount the drum to the bottom of my rack, they work great and with memory locks it is in the perfect spot every time.
