    Poor design overall. Hard to attach and hard to adjust. Not worth the frustration. And I'm not mechanically disinclined, so my poor review is not just another inept user.

    For the size, this thing should absolutely mute any head it's installed on...but it doesn't. I still have to use the mylar ring muffs to finish the job. Mechanically the thing is massive. It has an adjustment knob for tension that is completely useless for my drums. You clamp it on and accept it. I do use it though....I remember buying simple clip on mutes from GS back in the 90's for $3...back in the day.
