I got this guitar because of the appearance, and it did not have a pickguard. I do not like the raised Les Paul pickguard, so this was a real plus in my book. The pickups are not the cheap looking zebra ones but great looking covered ones. I did not hear any difference in the split mode settings on the pickups, nor would I use them anyway, but I did like the phase and bypass settings although it's not a Greeny though. Note on the color is that it is much darker in normal light. While it is very heavy compared to say a Strat or even some of the PRS models, it plays well and sounds great.

  • I would definitely recommend this guitar !

The website photos don't do it justice at all! It looks like you could reach into the finish and just flows and the black nickel hardware and mother of pearl inlays just finish it off perfectly ! Haven't played yet but I'm sure it won't disappoint and would fit right in an art gallery.
