Introducing The NEW Gibson Les Paul Supreme Series

Gibson

collapse expand iconDescription

The Gibson Les Paul Supreme brings together exceptional modern playability with timeless design elegance. This exquisite single-cutaway guitar has a stunning AAA-figured maple top on a chambered mahogany body, providing resonant sustain while keeping the weight comfortable. With dynamic Burstbucker Pro pickups, a compound radius ebony fingerboard and a SlimTaper neck profile, the Les Paul Supreme gives you exceptional tone and fast playability. The deep heel carve grants effortless access to the highest frets for soloing. Visually, the Les Paul Supreme dazzles with gold hardware, a pickguard-less figured maple top to showcase the wood's beauty and mother-of-pearl inlays. Play it to experience the supreme union of vintage and modern.

Mesmerize With a AAA Maple Top and Ultra-Modern Weight Relief

The Gibson Les Paul Supreme commands attention with its AAA-figured maple top, which exhibits a complex, three-dimensional flame pattern sure to turn heads on stage. Applying the figured maple as a top over the mahogany back adds tonal depth and complexity. Ultra-Modern weight relief carves away excess mahogany, reducing weight for enhanced playing comfort while retaining solid wood for vibrant acoustic resonance. The slim, contoured mahogany body rests comfortably against your body. With its eye-catching looks and lightweight feel, the Les Paul Supreme provides exceptional ergonomic performance.

Versatile Burstbucker Pro Pickups Provide a Modern PAF Tone

The Burstbucker Pro pickups deliver enhanced power and low-end compared to vintage PAF tone, making them exceptionally versatile. You get all the articulate attack, expressive dynamics and singing overtones of a great PAF pickup, with the added punch and growl to push a tube amp into thick overdrive. The multiple switching options let you tap the coils, reverse phase and bypass the volume controls. You can sculpt everything from glassy cleans to roaring leads.

Comfortable Compound Radius Ebony Fingerboard and SlimTaper Neck Profile

The Les Paul Supreme has an ebony fingerboard with a compound radius that shifts from more curve at the nut to flatter at higher frets for easy chording and effortless soloing. Plek machined for precision level frets, it's incredibly comfortable. The SlimTaper neck has a fast feel that makes playing along the 24-fret ebony fingerboard smooth and speedy. The deep cut heel joint provides complete hand access to the highest frets for leads, making it easy to rip solos across the entire fingerboard. The upper fret access is exceptional, letting your hand glide freely.

With its elegant aesthetics and dynamic tone qualities, the Les Paul Supreme makes a bold statement, visually and sonically. You'll fall in love with the striking AAA figured maple top, luxurious mother of pearl inlays and vintage-inspired headstock pearl logo. Gold hardware provides the perfect finishing touch. An included hardshell case keeps your Supreme protected for years of inspired playing sessions.

I purchased the Les Paul Supreme in Wine Red after demoing it at my local guitar center. I had them order and ship to store. Out of the box it was terrific. Other than tuning it up quickly, the neck relief and action were spot on. No cosmetic issues and looks fantastic. At home with my own rig I am very pleased with this guitar. It is a nice weight (8 lbs 2 oz) and well balanced. The pickups are a bit bright but suit hard rock well. I don't think I will use the coil taps much but they are fine to include and the pure bypass is a great inclusion. It's playability compares very favorably to my other high end guitars including a 1959 reissue Les Paul standard which is probably my best guitar. Looks a little dark in the photo but that is due to lighting - in person it is mostly a nice deep wine red.

I read the reviews - it is a modern, precision made, great sounding, and overall quality - wine red is spectacular as are the inlays. The setup was great out of the box, I made a few tweaks but overall a really great instrument, Love the compound ebony fretboard and the inlays.

I purchased this guitar for my online salesman Terry Crawford period. It is one of the best guitars I've ever owned. They needed to be some set up done that only took a few hours. I highly recommend this guitar if you were gigging musician, it truly lives up to the hype

Best looks plays like a dream. Awesome guitar to add to the collection. Les Paul Gibson doesn't get any better. Nice to have something that will appreciate with age. Very happy with such a beautiful guitar. Waited a long time for this purchase.
