Good Polish.
The Gibson Pump Polish does what it is supposed to do. It takes out fingerprints and dirt. Your guitar's finish will feel smoother and look shinier. Of course, if you have to feel its smoothness, then you'll inevitably add more fingerprints to the finish. Repeat as necessary.

Gibson Pump Polish
I used this on my 68 Telecaster and it is okay at removing fingerprints and the like, but not as good as the Virtuoso products. If you just need a quick 30 second polish the Gibson pump is okay, but with the Virtuoso Cleaner and Polish, (two separate products), my 40 year old Telecaster is actually shiny, how cool is that.

Clean the guitar, wipe the neck with a mist of water on a soft cloth to get the gunk off,use another clean polishing cloth to apply polish, get another clean cloth to wipe it down, let it sit for an hour or two, resting if needed then tune up and get to rocking, sweepstakes #.

I spray a clean soft rag with a light mist of water wipe the gunk off the neck let it dry.Take a brush get the pick dust off and whatever else, then another clean polishing cloth spray the cloth and wipe the guitar down, go back over it with yes, another clean cloth. When I'm done I let it sit out for an hour or two, tune it up and get to rocking out!

I've used this product for years on my 1959 Gibson ES-125. It cleans and protects and I've never had any issues with it on the finish. I also use on my 2002 Taylor 814ce Limited and the Cocobolo looks pristine.
Great stuff

I use this to clean up my jazz bass. It will get the neck slicked Up where my hand will slide up and down the neck with ease. At the same time, you polish your guitar, and make it look great.
